Its certainly been a mixed and challenging year of ups and downs, but one of the positives is that I’ve had a lot of focused time on my own work, funded by the VACMA scheme. I’ve put together a plan for this year which include an overhaul of my practice, a new website, and lots more making and experimenting. Some really useful professional practice advice in recent weeks, now just need to put it all into action 🙂
Although the official project is now at an end, the Contained Flora series will continue on for a while. Very thankful to Creative Scotland and Edinburgh Council for the support for this project. Having dedicated money to explore, experiment and really concentrate on professional practice makes a huge difference. Some aspects of it like drawing workshops I’d booked have had to be delayed due to the restrictions, but all being well these will happen this year.
I will be having a webshop sale on the 13th and 14th of March, so keep an eye out for updates on social media!
