This year I’ve been revisiting my professional practice with a focus on applying to exhibitions, and keeping the project moving forwards. As with almost every other artist out there, life can be a juggling act with balancing different aspects of work. But I have allocated more time where possible to focus on my own practice. At Cyan Clayworks we are excited to be taking part in the Edinburgh Fringe – details of dates and times here! We’ve been at Commercial street now for a year (hard to believe!) and it was definitely a good move. A lot of hard work and stress but worth it to be in our great new space.
I’ve been continuing with my current project, exploring other forms such as plates and jugs and using a small selection of different clay bodies. This new work will be shown in our Fringe show, and we will be expanding the display space to include more pieces. More pics to follow…
